A bariatrician is a licensed physician who has received special training in bariatric medicine, the medical treatment of the overweight and obese. Las Vegas Bariatric Physicians offers a non-surgical approach to managing weight loss and obesity through a comprehensive program which includes nutrition, exercise, behavior modification and prescription appetite suppressants. Both physicians, Dr. Dana Trippi and Dr. Kimberly Fletcher have a combined 20 years of medical experience.
It is the belief of Las Vegas Bariatric Physicians that as physicians practicing the specialized medical management of weight loss and obesity that we should provide individualized treatment for each patient.. In our practice, patients will get complete set of labs and an EKG as part of a pre-certification exam. Patients receive a manual, vitamins, sample products as well as a one hour lecture given by a physician. The patient will meet one-on-one with the physician for full physical exam, scale weight, bio-impedance body fat analysis, BMI, Vitamin B12, review of medical history and discussion of proposed individualized treatment plan. At each follow up visit, the patient is seen, and revaluated by a physician to monitor progress. Las Vegas Bariatric Physicians also offers Korr Metabolic Testing as a diagnostic tool for managing weight loss and monitoring maintenance.
